Training cum Input distribution for livelihood improvement under Natural farming by ICAR, KVK, Ri-Bhoi for tribal farmers of Ri-Bhoi district

        KVK, Ri-Bhoi successfully conducted a training cum input distribution on Natural farming as a part of 100 days Action plan of KVK’s at Umsaitphrah village on 7th Aug,2024 where 40 farmers from the village took part actively in collaboration with FXB, Suraksha, Bhoirymbong Block, Meghalaya. The farmers were trained on different methods of Natural farming which are low cost and environment friendly with use of inputs like cow dung and cow urine of locally reared cow and they were practically shown on the method of preparation of Jeevamrit and Beejamrit by Dr. Meghna Sarma, SMS, Agronomy, ICAR, KVK, Ri-Bhoi. Under input distribution programme sprayers and watering cans were distributed alongwith Leaflets on Natural farming written in local language.
